What plants/fruits are poisonous?

There are many poisonous plants in the Daintree Rainforest. For instance, the plants/fruits that are deadly would be the Idiot Fruit, Burrawang, Palm, Stinging Tree Fruits, Red Tulip Oak, and the Vine Trees plants. One of the deadliest plant in the Daintree Rainforest would be the Idiot Fruit, “These huge trees hold large brown fruits and the seed is highly poisonous, making this one of the few fruits that no rainforest bird or animal can tolerate. The tree’s only seed dispersal method is gravity. Therefore, distribution is limited. As a result, this plant occurs in very localised pockets of lowland tropical rainforest and around water catchment areas” (Daintree Rainforest Plants, 2017) Each plants has their own conditions. For example, the seed of the idiot fruit is as big as a human fist. It is also referred as the green dinosaur. The stinging tree is the most dangerous out of every plant in the Daintree Rainforest. Be careful when you touch or eat these fruits/plants. There will be images below to represent the poisonous plants/fruits.

Which fruit/vegetation/insect is edible?

There are four different type of plants that are edible within the Daintree Forest. They would be Wild Ginger, Noah’s Satinash, Pandanus and Spathoglottis. However, the Wild Ginger is safe enough for you to plant it in a garden. The Spathoglottis is also known as purple orchids. All these fruits aren’t harmful if you were to consume them. But, there is only one insect that’s consumable, the Witchetty Grub. Witchetty grubs are traditionally eaten live and raw. Their meat is rich in protein and makes for a highly nutritious snack. Barbecued witchetties are often eaten as an appetizer. They are cooked over a fire on pieces of wire, rather like shasliks or satays. There aren’t as many plants, fruits, and insects that are consumable within the region. However, the ones that are will be shown below.

How is the weather in the Daintree Rainforest? How to build Shelter?

Like the name of the forest there is a lot of rain. It is warm in the Daintree Rainforest the temperature is 27-33 degree celsius. The average maximum temperature is about 26 degree celsius. If you wanted to build shelter in the Daintree Rainforest you might want to build some type of tent. Or try to build a tent out of tree logs. The image could also be something you could built to use as shelter if you wanted to built shelter.

What is the Daintree Rainforest like?

The Daintree Rainforest has a lot of trees. The trees are really big. In the first image you could see that the trees could be really big. There is also bridges that are over lakes or rivers. Some of those bridges could be next to waterfalls. There are different wildlife. Some that attack you and some that don’t attack you. The second image represents that there is cabins in the Daintree Rainforest. The trails that are in the Daintree Rainforest might lead to one of those cabins, but most are like tree houses. There is also different types of plants. There is plants that will do harm to you in some way. Then there is plants that will be good for you to eat.

Where is the Daintree Rainforest?

The Daintree Rainforest is located in Australia. It is one of the largest Rainforest in Australia. It is located in the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia. The image represents where in Australia the Daintree Rainforest is located. The Daintree is 1,200 square kilometers big. It is filled with a lot of trees. There are some tour guides that you could get if you decide to go visit the Daintree Rainforest. The tour guides show you around and keep you from doing things that could harm you.
